Bats can commonly reside in residential properties by finding shelter within our attics, chimneys, and rooflines. Bats settle and congregate in dark spaces during the day, and prey on insects at night. Bats will hibernate in different den sites and are most active in spring and early summer as we experience warmer temperatures. Bats can live a normal life and still carry different diseases such as rabies. Avoid handling this species – if anyone is bitten or scratched seek immediate medical advice.
Our technician will identify the entry points being used by the bats to then begin our humane eviction process. Our technician will install an ‘exit door’ over the compromised area. This allows the bats to safely exit while preventing them from re entering. Once all the bats have left the area, the entry point will be sealed permanently to prevent re-entry, guaranteed.
During the eviction process we reinforce entry points, seal tiny gaps/openings around the property and repair any damage to prevent future re entry
